How can I become a validator?

Become one of our builders to develop Krono Chain and earn rewards

To become a validator on Krono Chain, participants must hold a minimum of 100,000 $KRAI, the native token of the ecosystem. This requirement ensures that validators have a vested interest in maintaining the network’s integrity and efficiency. While Krono Chain's node program for validators is set to launch in the future, early adopters can start accumulating $KRAI in preparation for the program. Once live, validators will be able to run a node, participate in transaction validation, and earn rewards for securing the network through the Proof of Automation (PoA) mechanism. This system leverages automation to streamline validation, reduce energy consumption, and enhance scalability. More details on technical requirements and staking mechanisms will be released as the program approaches launch.
